The third Harmony release
Launched in October 2023, Amber Meadow was the first project on which Stella and Mary McCartney worked together. The theme is the fertile land of Scotland and the people who have worked it for generations, set around the meadows of The Macallan Estate.
The whisky
Whisky maker Steven Bremner set out to capture warm meadows and ripening barley. A combination of sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks gives a lighter, fresher Macallan than the sherry-led core range, with orange and lemon, honeysuckle and a long, sweet finish.
How to enjoy it
Pour it neat first to catch the citrus and floral notes, then try a drop of water to bring out the melon and almond. It suits an afternoon dram as much as an after-dinner one.
