The Entry Point to Billy Walker's Vision
The GlenAllachie 8 Year Old is the distillery's most accessible expression and the perfect introduction to Billy Walker's philosophy of exceptional cask selection. At just 8 years old, this is a whisky of surprising depth and character — a testament to the quality of the casks that Walker and his team have assembled at the distillery since taking ownership in 2017. Bottled at 46% without added colouring or chill filtration, the 8 Year Old delivers the full GlenAllachie character in its most youthful and vibrant form.
- Nose: Fresh and inviting — green apple, vanilla, and a gentle malt sweetness with hints of light spice and a soft Speyside fruitiness
- Palate: Smooth and surprisingly complex — orchard fruit, toffee, and a warming spice with a clean malt character and a depth that belies the whisky's young age
- Finish: Clean and medium-length with lingering fruit, vanilla, and a gentle warming fade
