The Clydeside Fortnight is a distinctive peated Lowland single malt Scotch whisky crafted at The Clydeside Distillery in Glasgow. Named after the two-week period each year when the distillery produces peated spirit, Fortnight is made from 100% Scottish barley malted using Highland peat and matured for over six years in oak casks. Bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and without chill filtration, it combines Clydeside's signature bright, fruit-forward character with elegant smoke, vanilla, citrus and warming spice.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, grilled prawns, roasted chicken, aged cheddar and lemon tart. Its gentle peat smoke also complements toasted almonds, grilled vegetables and honey-glazed dishes.
Tasting Notes: An expressive peated Lowland single malt combining delicate smoke, stone fruits, vanilla, bright citrus and heather honey, with warming spices and lingering peat.
Nose: Gentle peat smoke mingles with ripe stone fruits and soft vanilla, creating an inviting balance of sweetness and smokiness.
Palate: Bright citrus flavours meet floral heather honey, complemented by gentle smoke and the whisky's naturally fruity malt character.
Finish: Warming spice and lingering peat smoke provide a satisfying, gently smoky conclusion.
