From the wild shores of Islay, The Botanist Cask Rested Dry Gin is a creation born from Bruichladdich Distillery’s whisky-making heritage and deep botanical mastery. Rested for a minimum of six months in fine Islay casks, it merges the essence of oak and time with the signature 22 hand-foraged botanicals that define The Botanist’s character. Each cask imparts a whisper of sweetness, warmth, and complexity that transforms this gin into something extraordinary.
At 46% ABV, this expression carries the soft richness of candied citrus, spiced juniper, and subtle floral tones, lifted by delicate notes of coconut, almond, and sweet oak. The palate is smooth yet layered, offering a perfect harmony between wood spice and the lively freshness of Islay’s botanicals. As it lingers, a wave of coriander, citrus, and herbaceous brightness leaves a lasting impression that’s both refined and vibrant.
Best savored neat or over ice with a slice of orange, The Botanist Cask Rested Gin invites you to slow down and taste the evolution of gin through cask, craft, and time. A sensory journey that bridges nature, heritage, and innovation—capturing the untamed spirit of Islay in every sip.
