The Bitter Truth Creole Bitters (200 mL) are concentrated cocktail bitters made in Germany with a complex Creole-inspired spice profile. The formula layers cayenne and pink peppercorn with anise, cinnamon, caraway, and fennel, bringing measured heat and aromatic depth to spirit-forward drinks.
The aroma combines dried apricot, cherry, and cranberry with smoked paprika, anise, and hints of pine. On the palate, fruity and floral notes meet a bitter, sweet, and spicy structure, while the liquid’s vivid red color echoes the vintage metallic label. The producer frames the style around complexity and spiciness.
Use a few controlled dashes to add lift and seasoning to a Manhattan, Old Fashioned, French 75, or other classic cocktail. The built-in dasher helps with precise application at the bar or at home. This listing is for one 200 mL bottle at 39% ABV / 78 proof, presented as cocktail flavoring.
