The Bean Organic Coffee Co. Vanilla Bean is a USDA‑certified organic, medium‑roast whole bean coffee flavored with natural vanilla for a smooth, aromatic cup.
Crafted by The Bean Coffee Company and hand‑roasted in small batches in the USA, this 16 oz bag combines 100% Arabica beans with certified organic vanilla flavoring. The result is a balanced medium roast that highlights gentle vanilla notes without overpowering the coffee’s natural character. The beans are sourced and roasted to preserve freshness and promote sustainable farming practices, offering an approachable flavored coffee for everyday brewing.
What flavor profile can I expect from this vanilla‑infused medium roast?
You’ll find a mellow, sweet vanilla aroma layered over a clean medium roast body. The vanilla adds a creamy, dessert‑like note while the Arabica base keeps acidity moderate and the finish smooth. It’s designed to taste well on its own and to adapt to multiple brewing methods.
- Primary notes: natural vanilla, light caramel, and mild cocoa undertones.
- Body: medium — balanced between bright and bold.
- Finish: smooth with lingering vanilla sweetness.
- Beans: 100% Arabica, whole bean for grinding to preferred coarseness.
How should I brew these whole beans to maximize flavor?
Grind just before brewing to retain the aromatic vanilla and roast complexity. A medium grind works well for drip machines and pour‑over; choose a slightly coarser grind for French press and finer for espresso. Adjust brew time and dose to taste to bring out the vanilla without overwhelming the coffee’s natural balance.
- Drip/pour‑over: medium grind, 1:16 coffee‑to‑water ratio for clarity.
- French press: coarse grind, steep 4 minutes for full body.
- Espresso: fine grind, adjust dose for a sweet pull with vanilla presence.
- Cold brew: coarse grind, long steep for a smoother, sweeter vanilla cup.
What certifications and sourcing practices back this product?
This coffee is USDA organic certified and vetted by CCOF, and the vanilla flavoring is also certified organic. The Bean Coffee Company emphasizes sustainable farming to support soil and water health and to minimize synthetic inputs. Roasting is completed in small batches in the USA to capture peak‑freshness and consistent quality.
- Certifications: USDA Organic and CCOF organic compliance.
- Sourcing: 100% Arabica beans from sustainably managed farms.
- Roasting: small‑batch hand roasting in the USA for freshness.

How does this vanilla coffee fit into daily use and gifting?

The 16 oz whole bean format lets recipients grind to preferred brewing methods, while the organic certification adds appeal for conscious consumers. It also pairs well with morning pastries or as a dessert companion.

- Gifting: organic certification and gourmet flavor make it a premium present.
