Teremana Reposado comes from the high peaks of Jalisco, Mexico, where founder Dwayne Johnson set out to make a small batch, ultra-premium tequila that was responsibly sourced and within reach for everyone. The name means spirit of the earth. Production starts with 100% blue weber agave harvested by hand, after which the pi\u00f1as are slow roasted about three days in small 24-ton traditional brick ovens at a lower temperature than most producers use. Distillation happens in copper pot stills built by hand at the distillery, giving the tequila a smooth, balanced character.
Time in American whiskey barrels builds depth here: the nose shows roasted agave, oak, stone fruit and a touch of vanilla, while the palate carries roasted agave, oak, vanilla and spice, with further notes of butter, nutmeg, five spice and almond. The finish is smooth and rich. Teremana was the first tequila to print nutrition information on the bottle \u2014 gluten free, no additives, 0g carbs, 0g sugar and 96 calories per 1.5 fl oz. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 1 L format.
