Teeling Blackpitts is a triple-distilled peated single malt Irish whiskey matured in bourbon and Sauternes casks, named for the historic Blackpitts malting district of Dublin.
Located just behind the Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the historic Blackpitts area of Dublin, once home to an abundance of malting houses — the inspiration for this unconventional release. Triple-distilled and peated, an unusual combination in Irish whiskey, Blackpitts marries gentle smoke with Teeling's fruit-forward house style, then matures in a combination of bourbon and Sauternes wine casks for added sweetness and depth.
