TAZO Green Tea Matcha Latte Concentrate is a ready-to-use, sweetened matcha and green-tea liquid flavored with honeydew melon and tropical fruit for hot or iced lattes and mocktails.
This pre-made 32 oz carton (sold as a pack of two) combines matcha powder with brewed green tea and fruit-forward flavoring so you can craft a café-style latte at home without whisking or steeping. Designed to be mixed one-to-one with your preferred milk or milk alternative, it’s versatile for hot beverages, chilled over ice, or incorporated into blended drinks and mocktails. The concentrate is lightly caffeinated (approximately 16–30 mg per serving) and brings a sweet, melon-accented aroma to each cup.
How should I prepare a hot or iced TAZO matcha latte?
Preparing this concentrate is quick and adaptable: combine equal parts concentrate and milk, then heat for a warm latte or pour over ice for a cold version. Stir or shake the carton before measuring to ensure even flavor and texture.
- Hot: mix 1 part concentrate with 1 part milk and heat on stove or microwave until warm; froth if desired.
- Iced: pour concentrate and milk over a tall glass of ice; stir gently to combine.
- Mocktail/blended: use the same 1:1 ratio, blend with ice and fruit for a smoothie-style drink.
- Garnish tips: fresh strawberries, grated matcha, or a citrus twist enhance aroma and presentation.
What flavors and aroma can I expect from this concentrate?
The profile leans green and slightly sweet, with matcha’s vegetal tones rounded by honeydew melon and subtle tropical fruit notes. It creates an approachable, fruit-laced matcha latte that’s less grassy and more dessert-forward than straight matcha powder.
- Primary notes: smooth matcha and brewed green tea base.
- Accents: honeydew melon and light tropical fruit for added sweetness and fragrance.
- Texture: rich, pourable concentrate that integrates smoothly with milk.
- Suitability: pleasant for those who prefer mildly sweet, fruit-tinged matcha drinks.
Can I customize this concentrate for dietary preferences or recipes?
Yes — it’s formulated to mix cleanly with dairy or plant-based milks and to be a starting component for many recipes. Adjust the concentrate-to-milk ratio to control sweetness and strength, and swap milks to suit dietary needs.
- Lower sweetness: increase milk proportion or use unsweetened plant milk.
- Dairy-free: use oat, almond, soy, or other milk alternatives for similar texture.
- Stronger matcha taste: reduce milk or add a small pinch of matcha powder.
- Recipe uses: base for iced lattes, mocktails, shakes, or dessert sauces.
Who is this product for? If you want a quick, flavorful matcha latte without measuring powders or managing traditional whisking, this concentrate is for you. It suits busy mornings, mid-afternoon pick-me-ups, or home baristas who prefer convenience with consistent taste. It’s also a good choice for people experimenting with plant milks, those making family-friendly mocktails, and anyone who enjoys a slightly sweet, fruit-accented take on green tea.
