The Sunrise Hotel Welcome Margarita is a premium ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail from the Sunrise Hotel line, a tequila-focused brand produced by the NiceLife Cocktail Co. in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. Marketed with a playful, retro-vacation aesthetic, the brand is built around a fictional hotel theme where every guest is greeted with this signature "Welcome Margarita." Unlike many malt-based "margarita" beverages, this is a legitimate tequila cocktail made with real spirits and juices, designed to offer a bar-quality experience in a portable format.
The Welcome Margarita is crafted to be a crisp, balanced, and highly sessionable version of the classic cocktail.
-
Base: Authentic Blanco Tequila from Mexico.
-
Flavor Profile: It is described as a citrus-forward blend featuring zesty lime and a subtle touch of orange for sweetness. A distinctive "briny whisper" of sea salt is integrated into the liquid to mimic a salted rim.
-
Mouthfeel: Bright and refreshing with a smooth finish, avoiding the cloying or artificial sweetness found in lower-tier canned margaritas.
-
Strength: It is bottled/canned at 6.9% ABV, placing it in the "easy-drinking" category compared to high-proof bottled cocktails.
