Summer Dreams Lazy Lounging Chardonnay is an exceptionally structured, opulent, and breathtakingly vibrant white wine that beautifully marks Jayson Woodbridge’s venture into the extreme terroirs of the West Sonoma Coast. Sourced from high-altitude hillside vineyards planted with old Wente clone vines rooted in rare, well-draining Goldridge sandy loam soils, this wine undergoes meticulous lees stirring (bâtonnage) in premium French oak barrels. It opens with an alluring, perfume-like bouquet of lime blossom, ripe apricot, and dried mango, layered with sophisticated nuances of candied ginger, cardamom, toasted almond, and freshly baked croissants. On the palate, it exhibits a full-bodied, concentrated, and beautifully seamless mouthfeel, where a dense core of tangerine cream and sun-kissed orchard fruit is animated by a racy, piercing line of natural coastal acidity. Balancing spectacular richness with a flinty, saline mineral density, it glides into a soaring, long finish marked by exceptional purity.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with pan-seared sea scallops in lemon-herb butter, roasted cornish game hen, rich wild mushroom risotto, or garlic-butter grilled lobster tails.
