Our Still & Co. Merlot is a decadent example of our winemaker’s meticulous artistry. They’ve created a complex flavor profile that balances rich, dark fruit flavors and complex aging characteristics by blending multiple vintages. In doing so, our Merlot offers dense layers of flavor and texture worthy of this brand’s multiple 90+ point reputation. In the arid climate of Washington’s Yakima Valley, vineyards enjoy an average of 300 sun-filled days a year. This northern wine region sits at the same latitude as Merlot’s ancestral home in Bordeaux. However, unlike Bordeaux, Yakima Valley has little influence from the ocean thanks to the towering peaks of the Cascade Mountains to its west. These ridges block coastal storms, keeping inland regions dry and hot, resulting in a fuller, fruitier, New World styling. We encourage you to share this bottle with friends and enjoy climate and craftsmanship come together. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
