Introduction:
St-Rémy Extra Old XO Brandy is a premium brandy that showcases a rich and complex taste. Aged for a longer period in small French oak casks, it is crafted from a selection of French eaux-de-vie, chosen for their aging potential. The result is a refined brandy that offers elegance and a lingering finish, perfect for moments of indulgence and refinement.
Tasting Notes:
- Appearance: Luminous amber, with a rich golden aura.
- Nose: A mature nose, underpinned by oak and delicate vanilla aromas, layered with hints of ripe fruits and honey.
- Palate: A rich palate with subtle notes of wood and vanilla, enriched with flavors of gingerbread, candied apricots, dates, figs, and nuts. This complex blend is slightly spicy, offering a long finish.
Pairings:
Enjoy St-Rémy XO neat, on the rocks, or in classic brandy cocktails. It pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, grilled bacon, and a variety of cheeses such as Mimolette, smoked goat cheese, and blue cheese. For dessert, try it with chocolate muffins, banana bread, or mango ice cream. Ideal for moments of refinement or relaxing indulgence.
