The S.T. Dupont Le Grand Dupont Natural Lacquer is the Maison's most luxurious regular-production lighter — a large-format, double-flame lighter that pairs the Le Grand Dupont's commanding presence with the incomparable depth of natural lacquer applied to a finish standard that exceeds even the demanding specifications of the Ligne 2.
Flame Type: Double yellow flame
Finish: Dark Blue Natural Lacquer
SKU / REF: C23013
Format: Le Grand Dupont (large format)
Gas Refill: Sold separately
Natural lacquer is among the most demanding finishes in any luxury Maison's repertoire. Derived from the sap of the lacquer tree, it is applied in dozens of ultra-thin layers, each cured individually in controlled humidity conditions before the next is applied. The resulting surface has a warmth and depth that synthetic lacquers cannot approach — a living material that changes subtly under different light conditions and improves with the passage of time.
The Le Grand Dupont format provides a larger canvas for this extraordinary finish, and the result — in a deep, saturated Dark Blue — is one of the most visually arresting lighters the House has produced. The double yellow flame is calibrated for the most prestigious cigars.
The summit of S.T. Dupont's regular collection.
