An 83mm SSP set for the Mazzer Major platform, coated in Red Speed (titanium aluminium carbon nitride, TiAlCN). SSP cuts its own geometry rather than copying the factory burr, so grinding is faster and the grounds run cooler than they do on stock steel.
Compatibility
Made for the Mazzer Major bolt pattern, which several other 83mm grinders share.
- Mazzer Major, Major V and Major Electronic
- Turin DF83 and DF83V
- Mazzer ZM (listed by SSP retailers)
- Ceado E37S, E37SD and E37SL (listed by SSP retailers)
Fiorenzato F83 owners: the factory burr dimensions match on paper, but we have not seen a confirmed swap, so contact us before ordering.
Features
- 83mm flat burrs on the Mazzer Major bolt pattern
- Red Speed (TiAlCN) hard coating
- Low heat transfer into the grounds
- Higher cutting forces and a better surface finish than the factory burr
- Rated for 5 tonnes of coffee or more
