Upgrade your grinder with a set of SSP 65mm flat burrs, precision engineered and CNC milled from tool steel by Sung Sim Precision (SSP) — a family-owned Korean manufacturer that has specialized in flat burr design since 1991. Available in three geometries and two coatings, these burrs sharpen grind consistency and unlock more clarity and sweetness in the cup.
Why upgrade to SSP burrs
- Three geometry options: Espresso for balanced, high-uniformity shots; Multi-Purpose for switching between espresso and filter; and 'Lab Sweet' (Cast) for extra sweetness and clarity in the cup.
- Two coating options: choose Red Speed (TiAlCN — Titanium Aluminium Carbon Nitride) for a slightly higher friction coefficient favoured for espresso, or Silver Knight (DLC — Diamond-like Carbon) for filter/bulk grinding with subtly lower fines production and enhanced clarity in the cup.
- Built to last: both coatings increase surface hardness and reduce heat transfer during grinding, extending burr lifespan.
Every set is made in South Korea to SSP's exacting tolerances, so you get the same particle size distribution and grind uniformity that has made SSP burrs a favourite among specialty coffee professionals worldwide.
