Privada Storytelling
The Sons Of Ash Lancero represents a union of patience, craft, and mystique. Rolled in slender elegance and aged for over four years, this cigar embodies what Privada seeks most: transformation through time. From the moment it was first laid down, this Lancero was designed to refine, to evolve, and to bloom into the balanced experience it has become today.
Sons Of Ash is a project built on the philosophy that cigars are more than products—they are legacies. A Lancero, in particular, demands discipline to roll and to smoke. It magnifies the blend, stripping away excess and revealing the purity of the leaf. When combined with years of Privada-controlled aging, the result is a cigar that feels like a whispered conversation between past and present.
Not loud, not brash—just refined, elegant, and honest. This is the kind of cigar that doesn’t need a band to impress; the experience itself is the luxury.
Flavor Journey
First Third: A soft introduction of earth, cedar, and aged tobacco sweetness. Subtle spice flickers on the retrohale, balanced by nuttiness and faint dried fruit.
Second Third: Spice becomes more defined—gentle black pepper and cinnamon notes—while cream and cedar ground the profile. Earthiness lingers, layered with hints of cocoa and toasted almond.
Final Third: Rich aged tobacco deepens, with spice mellowing into warmth. A touch of leather, dark fruit, and roasted nuts closes the cigar, finishing smooth and contemplative.
Why It Belongs in Privada
The Sons Of Ash Lancero is proof of why Privada exists: to find and age cigars that reveal beauty in patience. With over four years of rest, this Lancero has matured into a balanced and complex experience that simply cannot be replicated on retail shelves. Its slender vitola offers a true test of craftsmanship and rewards members with nuance, elegance, and time-woven complexity.
