Smooth Ambler Old Scout Single Barrel Cask Strength Straight Rye is a 4 year old rye whiskey built on a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, distilled on a continuous column. Each barrel is hand selected for quality and character, then bottled at cask strength without chill filtration.
The profile leans spicy and sweet together, with cinnamon and caramel alongside notes of black tea, honey, baking spices and mint. The texture is velvety, and the full 58.5% ABV carries the flavors without dilution.
Because this is a single barrel release bottled in limited, hand-selected batches, each bottling stands on its own. 750 ml.
