Wrapper: 8-year aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Habano
Binder: 10-year aged HVA (Habana Vuelta Arriba)
Filler: Aged Dominican & Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium
The Sinistro Habana Vieja is a meticulously crafted cigar that showcases the beauty of patiently aged tobaccos and old world blending. Handcrafted at the historic La Aurora Factory in the Dominican Republic, this boutique release combines exceptionally aged leaves from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic to create a refined, balanced smoking experience with remarkable depth and complexity.
An 8 year aged Cuban seed Nicaraguan Habano wrapper surrounds a 10 year aged HVA (Habana Vuelta Arriba) binder and a blend of aged Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, delivering a smooth medium bodied profile that rewards smokers with exceptional nuance. Expect notes of cedar, roasted nuts, cream, baking spices, earth, leather, and subtle natural sweetness, all layered together with the richness that only extended aging can provide.
The Habana Vieja Ambassador has officially been discontinued, making the remaining inventory the final production available. Once these cigars are gone, they will not be produced again.
Certain vitolas feature distinctive finishing touches that make the line even more unique. The Salomón includes Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper accents at both the head and foot of the cigar, while the Scala features a Mexican San Andrés Maduro leaf wrapped around the body, adding visual appeal and an extra layer of flavor complexity.
With its aged tobaccos, impeccable construction, and limited availability, the Sinistro Habana Vieja is a fitting farewell to one of the brand's most celebrated blends.
