46% ABV, 750 ml, Shortcross 5 Year Old is an Irish whiskey blend of single pot still and single malt whiskies, matured at the Rademon Estate Distillery in Northern Ireland.
"A beautiful combination of aromas, with honey, graham cracker, dried orange disc, mild spices, and gentle waves of chocolaty peat smoke. This carries through to the palate with melted milk chocolate, chewy toffee pepper, roasted spices, and black forest gateau, with the peat smoke present in the periphery. Absolutely delicious, this is a great peated Irish whiskey with a moreish finish of chocolate brownies and gentle bonfire smoke." Whisky Advocate 93 Points
Shortcross 5 Year Old is the first Irish whiskey to be released by a new distillery in Northern Ireland since the 1920s. It's also the first whiskey to be released outside of the Old Bushmills Distillery since the closure of the Old Comber and Coleraine distilleries.
