This Sauvignon Blanc hails from New Zealand’s renowned Marlborough region, situated at the northeastern tip of the South Island. Seven Terraces is a label known for producing fresh, expressive wines that reflect Marlborough’s unique terroir and maritime climate. The winery sources grapes from carefully selected vineyards that showcase the area's crisp, clean style and intense varietal character.
Wine Description
Seven Terraces Sauvignon Blanc pours a pale straw yellow with greenish hues. On the nose, it bursts with vibrant aromas of passionfruit, gooseberry, and freshly cut grass, layered with hints of citrus zest and elderflower. The palate is zesty and invigorating, offering notes of lime, green apple, and tropical fruit balanced by a minerally backbone. Light to medium-bodied, it finishes crisp and refreshing with lingering citrus and herbal nuances. Crafted entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine is best enjoyed young to capture its vivid aromatics and lively acidity.
Food Pairing
Ideal with fresh goat cheese, oysters, or a Thai green curry. Its bright acidity and herbal lift also make it a fantastic match for asparagus or grilled prawns. This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
