Tenuta Selvadolce Rucantu Pigato is a natural skin contact wine (orange wine) made from 100% Pigato grapes farmed biodynamically in Liguria, Northwestern Italy. The 30-year-old vineyards are terraced at about 150 meters above sea level as it is traditional in Liguria, planted on calcareous soils; the grapes are hand-harvested. Rucantu Pigato undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeast in barrique, skin maceration for a few days, bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfites, it's then aged for 8 months in wooden casks.
