Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium +
The Sancho Panza Double Maduro is a modern revival of a classic cigar name, reimagined by Matt Booth following his collaboration with General Cigar Company. After successfully breathing new life into Los Statos Deluxe, Booth turned his attention to the historic Sancho Panza brand, transforming it into a contemporary lineup that delivers exceptional flavor and value.
The Double Maduro has quickly become a standout in the portfolio, with the Robusto earning an impressive 92 point rating from Cigar Aficionado. It offers premium craftsmanship and rich complexity at a price that makes it an outstanding everyday smoke.
Wrapped in a toothy Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder from Estelí and a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, the Double Maduro delivers a balanced medium plus profile with layers of black pepper, cedar, dark cocoa, earth, espresso, and subtle natural sweetness. The blend offers bold spice and complexity while remaining smooth and approachable throughout the smoke.
Whether you're revisiting the Sancho Panza name or discovering it for the first time, the Sancho Panza Double Maduro is a flavorful, well balanced cigar that proves premium quality doesn't have to come with a premium price.
