San Polino Rosso Di Montalcino 2022 is an exceptionally expressive, vibrant, and beautifully layered organic and biodynamic Tuscan red wine that serves as a stunning introduction to the estate's pure Sangiovese profile. Pouring a brilliant ruby red, it opens with a fragrant, uplifted bouquet of dark sour cherries, wild raspberries, and red currants, seamlessly interwoven with elegant nuances of fresh violet petals, dried Mediterranean herbs, and a touch of loamy earth. On the palate, this medium-bodied red delivers a juicy, concentrated core of sweet strawberry and black cherry fruit, masterfully balanced by a refreshing vein of natural acidity and fine, grainy tannins. Exhibiting remarkable energy, structure, and length for a Rosso, it glides into a clean, savory finish highlighted by lingering notes of licorice, black tea, and a distinctive mineral complexity.
Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with traditional wild boar ragù, grilled pork chops, wood-fired mushroom pizza, hearty beef stew, or aged Pecorino cheese.
