Roasted in Puglia by a third-generation family roastery, this Super Crema blend combines Arabica sweetness and Robusta strength to produce a smooth, nutty cup with gentle acidity. Beans are small-batch roasted, nitrogen-flushed and sealed immediately to preserve oils and aroma for peak freshness. The profile favors a classic Italian crema and versatile performance across espresso machines, moka pots, pour-over rigs and French presses.
What flavor profile should I expect from this Super Crema blend?
The cup shows toasted hazelnut and subtle dark cocoa notes layered over a silky creaminess. Roast level and bean selection aim to balance approachable intensity with drinkability, keeping acidity restrained so the roast’s nutty character stands forward.
- Toasted hazelnut aroma with a hint of dark cocoa depth
- Silky mouthfeel and lasting golden crema
- Low-acid finish for smoother sipping
- Balanced strength from 50/50 Arabica–Robusta fusion
How should I prepare these whole beans for the best results?
Grind just before brewing to capture the brightest aromatics; grind size depends on your method. Use a fine setting for 9-bar espresso (25–30 second extraction), medium-fine for moka pot, medium for pour-over, and coarse for French press to get consistent extraction and body.
- Espresso: fine grind, 25–30s extraction for crema and intensity
- Moka pot: medium-fine grind for full-bodied stovetop shots
- Pour-over: medium grind to highlight clarity and nuttiness
- French press: coarse grind for rich, syrupy body
How fresh is the coffee when it arrives and how do I store it?
Each 12oz bag is nitrogen-flushed and vacuum-sealed immediately after roasting to lock in oils and aroma. The top seam shows an embossed Best Before code indicating the ideal 3–21 day window for peak roast character; after opening, store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container away from light.
- Nitrogen-flushed and sealed for travel protection
- Embossed Best Before code marks optimal freshness window
- Best stored in airtight container at room temperature
- Grind on-demand to preserve volatile aromatics
Is this blend suitable for daily use and multiple brew styles?
Yes—the medium roast and balanced Arabica–Robusta mix were designed for everyday enjoyment and adaptability. It delivers reliable crema and body in espressos while remaining smooth enough for filter methods, making it a versatile choice for households that use several brewing techniques.
- Consistent crema for espresso lovers
- Smooth enough for drip, pour-over, and French press
- Balanced strength suitable for milk-based drinks
- Ideal for rotating through different brewing devices
