San Marzano 62 Anniversario Primitivo Manduria Riserva
This full-bodied red wine from Apulia’s Manduria region is made from old vine Primitivo grapes grown in iron-rich soils under intense Mediterranean sun.
Cantine San Marzano was founded in 1962 by 19 growers and now includes over 1,200 members. The Anniversario 62 Riserva is sourced from bush vines over 60 years old in Valle del Sessantanni. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in steel before ageing in oak, delivering depth and polish while preserving varietal character.
- Aromas of prunes, black cherry jam, sweet spice and tobacco.
- Full-bodied palate with cocoa, coffee bean and vanilla.
- San Marzano 62 Anniversario Primitivo di Manduria Riserva finishes long, warm and velvety.
Pairs well with braised short ribs, beef ragu and grilled lamb.
