Introduction:
Chairman’s Reserve Original Rum is a premium blend crafted in Saint Lucia, embodying the island’s rich rum-making heritage. First blended in 1999, this balanced and flavorful rum is distilled in both Coffey column stills and John Dore pot stills, then aged for 4-5 years in ex-bourbon casks. The result is a complex yet smooth spirit that reflects the iconic style of Saint Lucian rum.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Cooked banana, caramelized fruits, and spicy oak with a touch of vanilla.
- Palate: Well-balanced mid-palate featuring toffee, golden raisin, tobacco, and clove, adding depth and richness.
- Finish: Long and creamy, transitioning from sweet fruit notes to a subtle spiced warmth.
Pairings:
Perfect for sipping neat or on the rocks, but also shines in classic cocktails like the Lucian Mai Tai, Daiquiri, or Rum Old Fashioned. Pairs well with grilled seafood, spiced desserts, and cigar pairings for a truly indulgent experience.
