Twelve years in barrel give Rum Malecon Reserva Superior its layered character: caramel and vanilla lead, followed by oak and a touch of toasted spice that carries into a smooth finish. The texture is rounded and velvety, the result of patient aging and careful blending.
Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it holds enough backbone for premium cocktails while staying composed enough to drink neat. The refinement here comes straight from long barrel maturation rather than anything added after the fact.
