Rothschild 'Rimapere' Sauvignon Blanc is a wine produced by the Rothschild family at their 'Rimapere' estate located in New Zealand's Marlborough region. 'Rimapere' reflects the family's commitment to crafting wines that capture the essence of the terroir in this renowned wine-producing area. Rimapere Sauvingnon Blanc is a beautiful wine that showcases the full-bodied Sav Blancs that New Zealand is famous for. A bold wine that promotes strong acidity, this wine is the perfect summer wine. To the eye: pale straw yellow; clean, but no opaque. On the nose: strong notes of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate: Citrus and tropical fruits, passionfruit, and a slight oakiness from the barrels. This wonderful wine works well on its own on a summer’s afternoon. It also works well accompanying a cheese platter. The acidity and full-bodiedness of the wine helps to accentuate the strength of the cheeses.
