Elegant and quietly expressive, Rooted Bench is shaped by the cool Pacific breezes and sandy benchland soils of Santa Maria Valley. This coastal terroir, with its long, slow-growing season, allows the fruit to ripen at its own pace, preserving the lifted aromatics and delicate structure that define the wine. In the glass, harmonious tones of black cherry and wild bramble unfold with grace, accented by soft toasty hints and a whisper of spice that lingers like a well-kept secret. Crafted with care and a deep respect for the land, this 2023 Pinot Noir reflects the thoughtful winemaking that lets nature lead the way. Rooted Bench is more than a name—it’s a tribute to place, patience, and the quiet beauty of a wine that speaks in subtle, unforgettable tones.
