Elegant and concentrated, with intense fresh red fruit, floral aromas and pronounced mineral character. The palate is dense yet refined, with silky tannins, vibrant freshness and impressive depth leading to a long, harmonious finish.
Food Pairing: Pair with duck breast, fine cuts of beef, game birds, roast veal, mushroom dishes, or aged cheeses.
95 Points - James Suckling
What a refined and fragrant nose this beautiful Pernand Vergelesses 1er cru has. At once graceful and tense on the super-elegant and concentrated, medium-bodied palate. The floral delicacy, the tiny red berry character and filigree of this wine is what a lot of people want from Chambolle-Musigny that it doesn't always deliver. One-third from 90-year-old vines. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
