Roast Ridge French Vanilla Whole Bean Coffee is a medium-roast, 100% Arabica flavored whole-bean blend in a 2 lb bag, designed for fresh grinding and smooth, aromatic cups with sweet vanilla and light caramel notes.
Roast Ridge sources high-elevation Arabica beans from small family farms, then slow-roasts single batches and infuses them with a warm French vanilla profile. This 2 lb whole-bean offering preserves peak freshness until you grind, so you control extraction and flavor for drip, pour-over, French press, or espresso. Packaged in the USA, the blend is non-GMO, gluten-free, kosher-certified, and crafted to deliver a balanced, medium-bodied cup with hints of baked cookies and caramel.
What flavor profile can I expect from the French Vanilla medium roast?
The blend highlights a rounded medium body with an inviting vanilla sweetness layered over naturally roasted coffee notes. Expect a creamy vanilla aroma on the first pour and subtle caramel and cookie-like undertones on the finish.
- Primary taste: gentle, sweet French vanilla
- Secondary notes: light caramel and baked-cookie nuances
- Body: medium-bodied, smooth mouthfeel
- Aroma: warm, dessert-like fragrance that fills the cup
How should I grind and brew these whole beans for best results?
Grind size matters: coarse for French press, medium for drip and pour-over, fine for espresso. Grind immediately before brewing to capture volatile aromas and achieve fuller flavor; adjust grind and dose to match your machine and taste preferences.
- French press: coarse grind, 4–5 minute steep
- Pour-over/drip: medium grind, 1:15–1:17 coffee-to-water ratio
- Espresso: fine grind, shorter extraction for concentrated flavor
- Storage tip: keep sealed in an airtight container away from light and heat
Where do the beans come from and how are they roasted?
Roast Ridge partners with small, family farms at elevations between 1,200 and 1,800 meters to source dense, flavor-rich Arabica cherries. Each lot is slow-roasted in single-batch runs to control temperature, time, and airflow so the natural bean characteristics and the vanilla infusion remain balanced.
- Origin: multiple high-elevation growing regions, single- and small-lot sources
- Bean type: 100% Arabica, hand-picked selections
- Roast method: single-batch, slow-roasted for consistent medium roast
- Packaging: roasted and packed in the USA for freshness
Is this coffee suitable for dietary needs and household use?
This whole-bean French Vanilla coffee is free from common allergens and labeled non-GMO and kosher, making it a flexible choice for many households. Because it’s whole-bean, you control grind and brew strength, which helps customize cups for family members and guests.
- Certifications: gluten-free, mold-free, allergen-free, kosher certified
