Remus Highest Rye Straight Bourbon Whisky Aged 6 Years is a bold, high-rye straight bourbon crafted at Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Aged for six years, it features a distinctive mash bill of 51% corn, 39% rye, and 10% malted rye—the highest amount of rye possible in a bourbon while maintaining its legal bourbon designation. Bottled at a robust 109 proof, it delivers a rich combination of sweet fruit, maple, and lively rye spice.
The palate brings forward candied fruit, cinnamon, honey, oak, and warming rye spice, with a lingering finish accented by cinnamon and saddle leather. Its full-bodied character makes it particularly rewarding neat or with a few drops of water, while its spicy structure also works beautifully in bourbon-forward cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Manhattan. Whether you are looking for a distinctive high-rye bourbon for sipping, a versatile bottle for your home bar, or an expressive addition to your whiskey collection, Remus Highest Rye offers impressive intensity and character at every pour.
