Unleash the untamed spirit of California with Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Cask Strength Blend of Straight Whiskeys. Crafted by Redwood Empire Distilling in Graton, Sonoma County, this 117.2-proof (58.6% ABV) limited-edition blend, first released in October 2022, is named after the 320-foot-tall Lost Monarch, the world’s largest coastal redwood. A fusion of 55% rye whiskey (94% rye, 5% malted barley, 1% wheat, aged 3-5 years) and 45% bourbon (74% corn, 20% rye, 4.5% malted barley, 1.5% wheat, aged 4-12 years), it includes MGP-sourced and house-distilled rye. Aged at least 4 years in the temperate Northern California fog belt, it’s non-chill filtered, delivering a bold, unfiltered profile. For every bottle sold, a tree is planted, reflecting the distillery’s sustainability mission. Sip it neat to embrace its fiery complexity, with a splash of water to soften the spice, or in a bold Sazerac.
