The Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey is the boldest expression of Redwood Empire’s flagship bourbon—bottled uncut and unfiltered straight from the barrel to deliver maximum flavor intensity. Rich, layered, and powerful, it combines classic bourbon sweetness with vibrant fruit and spice, amplified by its high proof. Despite its strength, it remains remarkably balanced, offering deep caramel, cherry cola, and roasted nut complexity. For bourbon enthusiasts who appreciate cask-strength releases with real personality, Pipe Dream delivers both power and polish.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Redwood Empire Whiskey, based in Northern California, has built a reputation for blending high-quality bourbon stocks and producing distinctive American whiskeys inspired by the region’s towering redwood forests.
-
Producer Philosophy
Redwood Empire names each whiskey after iconic redwood trees and supports forest restoration initiatives, reinforcing the brand’s connection to Northern California’s natural heritage. -
Cask Strength Expression
Pipe Dream Cask Strength is bottled uncut and unfiltered, meaning it is not diluted after aging. This preserves the whiskey’s natural oils, body, and full flavor intensity. -
Age Range
A blend of bourbons aged approximately 4–14 years, bringing together youthful vibrancy with mature oak depth. -
Mash Bill
A distinctive four-grain recipe:- 73% Corn
- 18% Rye
- 5% Malted Barley
- 4% Wheat
This combination creates a bourbon that balances sweetness, spice, and creamy texture.
-
Bottling Strength
Typically released around 115–116 proof (≈58% ABV), reflecting true barrel strength.
The result is a whiskey that expresses Redwood Empire’s craft approach—powerful yet refined, with layered flavors drawn directly from the barrel.
