Crafted with a quintessential Kentucky spirit, RD1 Spirit’s Straight Bourbon embodies the essence of the Bluegrass State from start to finish. Distilled, aged for 4+ years, and bottled entirely in Kentucky, our bourbon celebrates local heritage and tradition. Using 100% Kentucky corn and limestone well water in our sour mash, along with a classic mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, we honor the time-honored flavors beloved by Bluegrass connoisseurs.
Our packaging pays homage to Lexington's rich distilling history while embracing innovation for the future. The custom glass bottle features design elements inspired the first federally registered distillery in Lexington, with a nod to Ashland Distillery's old label and the iconic horse farm fences etched around the base, capturing the essence of our beloved region.
Experience the true essence of Lexington with every sip of RD1's Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Delight in the enticing aromas of vanilla wafers and roasted almonds, followed by vibrant flavors of orange, honeyed caramel, and herbal tea, balanced with peppery oak. The long, warm finish leaves a dry, spicy allure of ginger and cinnamon.
For those seeking a unique sensory journey, allow RD1 to transport you to the heart of Kentucky:
- See: The gleam of your favorite piece of gold jewelry
- Smell: The inviting aroma of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail
- Taste: The rich flavors of your favorite cigar
- Feel: Like the proud owner of a Lexington horse farm
