Crafted the intersection of tradition and innovation, RD1 Spirit's latest offering marries the time-honored art of barrel-aged bourbon with contemporary finishing techniques, showcasing the exquisite fusion of French Oak and Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
French Oak, renowned for its affinity for cognac and wine aging, is revered for its fine grain and intricate flavor profile. Sourced the esteemed forests of Central France, the oak undergoes a meticulous seasoning process in Northern California before being precisely cut, milled, and toasted to RD1's specifications.
Meanwhile, RD1's Kentucky Straight Bourbon undergoes its maturation journey in new American Oak barrels. After aging for over 4 years, French Oak wood staves are introduced into the barrel, imparting their unique character and enhancing the bourbon's depth and complexity.
Experience the sophistication of RD1's French Oak-finished bourbon with its luxurious mouthfeel, where notes of caramel dance gracefully alongside dark cherries and sweet oak. The finish delights with nuances of dark chocolate, culminating in a refined oakiness with a subtle hint of smoke.
For those seeking a sensory adventure beyond traditional tasting notes, allow RD1 to transport you to moments of opulence:
- See: The gleam of your statement gold watch
- Smell: The indulgent aromas of Sunday brunch a luxury resort
- Taste: The exquisite flavors of award-winning French toast
- Feel: The camaraderie of a celebratory dinner with esteemed clients
