RD One Bourbon Amburana offers a distinctive twist on traditional bourbon through finishing in rare Amburana casks. This 750 mL expression showcases the exotic influence of South American Amburana wood, which imparts unique spice notes and aromatic complexity rarely found in American whiskey.
Amburana wood, native to Brazil, transforms the bourbon with layers of cinnamon, vanilla, and warm baking spices, creating an intriguing fusion of Kentucky tradition and international flair. The result is a smooth, approachable bourbon with enhanced sweetness, subtle tropical fruit notes, and a distinctive spice profile that sets it apart from conventional expressions.
Tasting Profile:
Nose: Cinnamon, vanilla, caramel, exotic spice
Palate: Rich honey, butterscotch, tropical fruit, warm spice, toasted oak
Finish: Smooth, lingering with cinnamon and vanilla
The Amburana finish adds depth and character while maintaining bourbon's classic appeal. Perfect for bourbon enthusiasts seeking unique finishing techniques and adventurous flavor profiles. A distinguished addition to any premium spirits collection.
