The Rancilio Silvia Pro X builds on the legacy of the Silvia Pro by addressing the evolving needs of espresso enthusiasts. Designed for both dedicated home baristas and seasoned professionals, this upgraded dual boiler espresso machine offers enhanced performance, precision, and control — all in a compact, stylish form.
Thoughtfully Upgraded for the Passionate Brewer
With input from the espresso community, Rancilio has refined the Silvia Pro X to deliver even greater versatility. At its core is the same dual boiler system — a 0.3 L brew boiler and a 1.0 L steam boiler — supported by dual PIDs for precise temperature control. This setup allows you to brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously, each at independent, adjustable temperatures for optimal results.
Now, with the addition of variable soft infusion, the Silvia Pro X introduces a new dimension to extraction. By starting each shot with a gentle water pre-wet before gradually increasing pressure, users can fine-tune flavor outcomes — adjusting for body, acidity, and clarity.
Key Features:
-
Variable Soft Infusion
A standout addition to the Silvia Pro X, this feature gently saturates the coffee puck before ramping up to full pressure. The duration of this pre-infusion is programmable, giving users more control over extraction and flavor development. -
RS1-Style Professional Portafilter
Borrowed from Rancilio’s commercial lineup, the updated portafilter features an ergonomic soft-grip handle, improving comfort and usability while reinforcing the machine’s pro-grade feel. -
Dual Boiler System with Dual PID Control
Enjoy stable temperatures with two separate stainless steel boilers: one dedicated to brewing, the other to steaming. Each is independently adjustable, allowing for precise temperature tuning to suit your coffee and milk preparation needs. -
Coffee Boiler Pressure Gauge
A new visual feature, the added pressure gauge above the drip tray displays coffee boiler pressure — offering a more accurate reflection of brewing conditions than standard pump gauges. -
Refreshed Aesthetic
The Silvia Pro X introduces new matte color options for a sleek, modern look, bringing contemporary style to your countertop. -
Additional Highlights
-
Adjustable cup tray height
-
Hot water tap for americanos or tea
