The Bourbon Pursuit team doesn't accept mediocrity. They flawlessly transitioned from analyzing whiskey to actively bottling their own meticulous obsessions.
Maturation profoundly alters this classic mashbill. Seven relentless Kentucky summers aggressively push the volatile liquid deep into the heavily charred oak staves. This violent interaction ruthlessly extracts deeply resinous wood sugars while miraculously preserving the vibrant orchard fruit esters hiding just beneath the surface. You'll absolutely taste the unvarnished barrel impact.
Independent bottlers completely rewrite the established rules. Bottling at 126.2 proof (Ep. 084) and 120.8 proof (Ep. 085) forcefully protects the dense fatty compounds, constructing its undeniably chewy mouthfeel. The heavy wood foundation securely anchors an astoundingly complex architecture of exotic baking spices and robust dark fruit that mass-produced alternatives simply can't replicate. You shouldn't miss this genuinely exceptional pour.
