The Punch Signature series is one of the finest ever produced by the folks at General Cigars and should be added to the want list of any aficionados who desire boldly complex and richly entertaining smokes. The Punch Signature Robusto is a 91-rated gem that will prove to be one of the finest Robustos around.
The Punch signature Robusto weighs in at an impressively built 5" x 54, beautifully showing off its tantalizing Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper leaf that was grown especially for the Signature series. A plethora of plush Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos complete the beauty along with a Connecticut Habano binder to create the 45 to 55 minute escape.
Once the Punch Signature Robusto is aflame, notes of leather and hickory explode onto the palate with hints of pepper, cocoa and spice trailing in support. The full-bodied adventure continues with some bread-like nuances that float atop a nutty undertone, with each flavor combining for a fantastically entertaining finale.
The Punch Signature brings Punch back to the top of full-flavored cigars and is a winner through and through. Snag an 18-count box or two of these fabulous treasures and savor one of the truly great Honduran-produced smokes. Enjoy after a fine steak dinner and with a tasty snifter of Bourbon for a grand old time!
