The S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 Vertigo lighter is a bold and distinctive example of the maison’s mid-century design revival. Finished in deep burgundy Chinese lacquer and layered with a repeating red square motif, the Vertigo I blends architectural flair with timeless craftsmanship. Its gold-plated body enhances the visual contrast, offering a striking yet balanced design.
Unlike its successor, the Vertigo II, this original Vertigo was not individually numbered. Its overwhelming success later inspired the creation of a limited, numbered second edition. Produced in limited quantities and finished by hand in France, the Vertigo I remains a sought-after piece for collectors and long-time S.T. Dupont enthusiasts.
This lighter comes in excellent condition and is fully functional, offering both collectible appeal and everyday elegance.
Features:
- Gold-plated body with red geometric Chinese lacquer
- Made in France
- Excellent condition and fully functional
No longer available: the later Vertigo II lighter, numbered and based on the success of this original model.
