99-100 Points – James Suckling,
“A breathtaking Vieux Château Certan of extraordinary finesse and complexity. The nose is profoundly expressive, unveiling layers of black cherries, cassis and ripe plums intertwined with violets, truffle, graphite and subtle exotic spices. The palate is seamlessly textured and remarkably precise, combining exceptional concentration with effortless elegance. A core of pure dark fruit is supported by silky, perfectly integrated tannins and vibrant freshness, while a distinctive mineral backbone adds depth and definition. The finish is incredibly long, nuanced and persistent, showcasing the harmony and sophistication that define one of Pomerol’s greatest estates.”
