Plymouth Honey is a honey-flavored gin expression crafted by Master Distiller Sean Harrison at England's historic Black Friars Distillery—the country's oldest working gin distillery. Built upon the foundation of Plymouth Gin's iconic 1793 original recipe, it utilizes a traditional seven-botanical blend—including juniper, coriander seed, cardamom, orange peel, and lemon peel—distilled in an 1855 copper pot still with soft mountain water from Dartmoor. Infused with a carefully calibrated natural honey flavor at the blending stage, this crystal-clear pour purposefully eschews the golden hue of traditional sweet honey liqueurs to preserve its identity as a full-strength cocktail gin. The spirit opens with a sun-warmed, sweet honey aroma layered over characteristic juniper and earthy herbs, giving way to a delicate, balanced palate where rich vanilla intertwines with a bright citrus finish. Distributed nationwide, its distinctive jet-black glass bottle is adorned with a honeybee and honeycomb label, signaling a versatile profile that works phenomenally well neat, over ice, or as the star upgrade to a classic Bee's Knees cocktail.
