This exceptional red wine originates from Australia, specifically from the prestigious McLaren Vale region in South Australia. Established in 1892 by Alexander Campbell Johnston, Pirramimma is one of the oldest family owned wineries in the area, with its name translating to 'the moon and the stars' in the local Aboriginal language. Across generations, the Johnston family has maintained an intimate relationship with their estate, focusing on sustainable viticulture and a winemaking philosophy that marries time honoured traditions with modern innovation to truly capture the distinctive character of their ironstone soils.
