Our experts love great Pinot Noir, and there are a few notes that really stand out the first time you try a Chilean Pinot. On the first sip, there’s the usual red fruit: pomegranate and cherries. But there’s also something else that is harder to place that has a cooling effect. We call this minty-fresh flavor eucalyptus, and it is a very typical note in Pinot Noirs that come from Chile. These flavors, the medium body, and the lively tannins make this a fun wine to explore before and with dinner. Try it with roasted lamb and grilled vegetables for the best effect. Judges love it too! It took home a gold medal the 2018 Harvest Challenge.
