Peterson has been making pipes in Dublin since 1865, known for muscular shaping, distinctive silver work, and old world craftsmanship, and the Derry Rusticated XL02 is a strong example of everything that reputation is built on. The Derry series takes its name from Ireland's fifth largest city, and the deep, aggressive rustication across the bowl is both visually striking and practical, giving the pipe a confident grip in the hand. The XL02 is a bent apple shape measuring 5.66 inches with a 1.74 inch bowl height and a nickel army mount, finished with a caramel-swirled acrylic fishtail stem that contrasts beautifully against the dark, textured bowl.
The rustication makes for easy holding during a long smoke, and the generous bowl size provides hours of smoking pleasure. Whether you are a seasoned pipe smoker adding to your collection or looking for a well-built everyday smoke, the Derry Rusticated XL02 delivers classic Irish craftsmanship at a price that is hard to argue with.
