The Perdomo Double Aged 12 Year Vintage Sun Grown takes one idea to an extreme: age everything, then age it again. Every leaf in this cigar — wrapper, binder, and filler — is bale-aged ten years, then rested two more in charred white oak bourbon barrels. Twelve years before it ever reaches your humidor.
What separates the Sun Grown from its Connecticut and Maduro siblings is the wrapper: a Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sun Grown leaf, bourbon-barrel aged like the rest of the blend, over Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler grown in Estelí, Condega, and Jalapa. A true Nicaraguan puro. Perdomo grows, ages, rolls, and ships all of it out of Tabacalera Perdomo in Estelí. That vertical control is why the aging story holds up.
The profile runs rich and earthy with a spicy-sweet edge. Oak and almond up front, caramel and cocoa through the middle, black pepper on the retrohale, and a long, warming finish carrying a faint bourbon note from the barrels. More intensity than the Connecticut, more restraint than the Maduro.

Choosing Your Size
Robusto (5x56) — The most balanced way into the blend. Wide enough to open the oak and cocoa, short enough to finish in about an hour. Best value in the line.
Epicure (6x56) — Same ring as the Robusto with more length, which stretches the sweet-spice middle and keeps the burn cool.
Churchill (7x56) — The long, slow smoke. The format lets caramel and bourbon settle in without ever running hot. Give it 90 minutes.
Gordo Extra (6.5x60) — The fullest, roundest expression. The 60 ring pushes more filler into the draw, so earth and pepper come forward.
