This exceptional wine is part of our Fine Wine Collection.
Winemaking Viticulturalists embrace the exceptional 2023 vintage by allowing extended hang time, capturing deep color, ripe tannins, and vibrant flavor complexity. Grapes from organically farmed and sustainably managed vineyards are fermented in small lots, preserving the unique character of each site. Extended maceration deepens structure and intensity, while oak stave aging adds subtle layers of spice and texture. The result is a balanced, long-lived wine that reflects both purity of fruit and a nuanced sense of place.
Vintage Following an unusually wet start, the 2023 growing season in Napa Valley unfolded at a measured pace, with mild temperatures extending fruit maturation well into fall. This long hang time allowed organically and sustainably farmed vineyards across Rutherford, Pope Valley, and Calistoga to achieve full physiological ripeness without overripening. This vintage emerged as one of rare vineyard precision and climatic harmony. From volcanic slopes to valley floor, 2023 expresses a year when nature offered ample time for careful cultivation and confident winemaking.
Pairing Logic This bold and balanced Cabernet Sauvignon is a natural partner for grilled red meats, hearty stews, and dishes featuring rosemary or black pepper. Its lush black cherry and blackberry flavors, accented by cedar and a touch of oak, shine alongside roasted root vegetables or mushroom-based entrées. For a standout pairing, try it with aged cheeses or charred fare to echo the wine’s structured richness and fruity finish.
