The sensory profile is ample and indulgent, featuring a 'European' savoury nose of marinated olives, semi-dried tomatoes, and cured meats, layered with exotic notes of Thai red curry paste, lavender, and violets. On the palate, the wine is glossy and resolved, showcasing a luscious core of sweet dark fruits; such as medjool dates, goji berries, and black cherries, encapsulated by creamy chocolate-malt and toasted American oak. It is a medium to full-bodied wine characterized by supple, silky tannins and a structural 'flare' that provides great length and energy. This blend typically consists of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Shiraz, matured for 17 months in American oak (40% new), and reached an ABV of approximately 14.5%.
